Unlocking the mystery of East Asia Part-4
Continuing from Part-3=====================
======================================
Before
explaining the mechanism of the way of Japanese thinking, please let me take a
little moment and explain why I’m explaining the differences of Japanese,
Chinese, and Koreans.
I oftentimes see ignorant people who say
“Don’t generalize people by nationality!” but I think they don’t understand
their own arrogance of believing that the whole world has the same values,
feelings, common sense, and the way of thinking as they do.
I don’t generalize people by nationality but I
think it’s important to recognize the differences of the way of thinking and
common sense which can be varied by nationality.
Trying to acknowledge the differences by
nationality is a humble and unselfish attitude to understand people from other
country, I think.
Why I tell you this? I have many reasons to say that because
Japanese people had gone through a horrible experience for more than 10 years
and came to realize the ever unknown truth and reality.
When I
returned to Japan in the year 2000, it was when Japan changed the way of
approaching to South Korea.
There had been a tension between Japan and
South Korea. It started from the year 1991 when Asahi (Japanese) newspaper
reported the fabricated story of Comfort Women which was based on a novel
written by Seiji Yoshida who was seemingly Korean immigrant.
Even though Seiji Yoshida officially announced
to admit that the novel was total fabrication later, but Korean immigrants
didn’t let go the fabricated story, knowing that they could use it against
Japan, so that they could get privileges in exchange.
The tension became stronger and stronger as
Korean immigrants and Korean people in South Korea began to fabricate the story
of Comfort Women in unison.
Then Korean immigrants started to tell
Japanese people “If South Korea became as a successful country as Japan, Korean
people’s inferiority complex and jealous would vanish. Why don’t you help South
Korea become as a wealthy country as Japan so that Korean people will stop
raising anti-Japanese hatred which has been lasting since the end of 2nd World
War?”
All Japanese people agreed with this idea
because Korean immigrants were saying that and thought “Why not give as much as
we can to Korean so that they’ll appreciate us and lose hatred against us”.
And from around the year 2000, “Japan-Korea
friendship” campaign was hailed and Japanese people began to put South Koreans
and Korean immigrants first priority ahead of Japanese people themselves.
However, this was the beginning of all the mistakes and tragedies. You know
why? What kind of mistake Japanese
people were making? The mistake was the
thought “We are the same East Asian and can share the same values and feelings”
Japanese people were thinking that things Japanese people got pleased for being
done by others would be the same for South Koreans. So Japanese people did
anything Japanese people would be please for South Korean.
At that time, Japanese people didn’t know much
about Korean people and culture.
I’ll give you more specific details at other
times but I will cut to the chase
After
giving tremendous contributions for South Korea for more than 10 years, what
Japan got in exchange was more anti-Japanese hatred than ever before.
South Korea became drastically wealthy as
promised by Japan. Japanese people kept closing their eyes for South Korea even
though Samsung, Ship building companies, and all major Korean companies were
illegally stealing technologies from Japan while violating the copyrights.
That’s how Samsung and major Korean companies became large.
Just for information. Before Samsung, Hyundai
and other Korean major companies became large, South Korea was earning foreign
currency by selling counterfeit products such as European brands of Channel,
Louis Vuitton, etc. South Korea was the world number one counterfeit country
but now China has taken over the first place and South Korea became 2nd place.
Both countries think making and selling fake products is okay because cheating
is an act of fair play they think so they are not ashamed of doing it. Also
prostitution was and is another big source of income for South Korea. Since
80’s which was before the era the fabricated story of Comfort Women began,
Korea has been vigorously inviting Japanese tourists for the purpose of
prostitution. It was well known, even now though, South Korea was a country of
prostitution. Isn’t that irony? Now
Korean people say that Japan did sexual slaves and holocaust of Korean women,
but after 2nd World War, South Korea was only targeting Japanese people for prostitution
business. If they really had a horrible experience by Japan, they would have
avoided Japanese people in the first place. Even now, South Korea’s number one
target for prostitution business is Japan. There are 50,000 illegal Korean
prostitutes in Japan, 30,000 in the US, and 10,000 in Australia. So much
discrepancy when people are making a lie.
Anyway, it wasn’t fair play in the eyes of
Japanese people but in the eyes of Koreans, stealing and cheating were an
absolute fair play. However, still gullible Japanese people didn’t say anything
against Koreans hoping the relationship would turn around but it didn’t,
because the internet was divulging so much hard documents and evidences to
prove that the story of Comfort Women was 100% pure fabrication and cheating
committed by Koreans. And Korean people were becoming more and more desperate
to force their fabrication but totally failed because what they had was only
testimonies by Koreans. There were no hard evidence and document. That’s why
Korean people changed the place to campaign “Comfort Women” from Japan to the
US around 2012
South
Korean people have a constant obsession to want to win against Japan which
desire comes from their inferiority complex. All their behaviors revolve around
this obsession.
And they don’t hesitate to commit cheating,
lying, and fabricating to achieve their victory. That’s Korean way of thinking.
And that’s how the story of Comfort Women was fabricated.
Then in 2012, South Korean President Lee
Myung-bak said before Korean media, "If Japanese King wants to apologize
to us, he should come here. And I will tie his hands and legs as a felony
criminal and make him get down on his knees and rub his head on the ground to
apologize for South Korea. Don't even
dare to think he will be forgiven for just saying an apology. We're never going
to take that kind of shit or we'll block his entry to our country."
That was it. It was a huge slap in the faces
of all Japanese people.
No other country in the whole world has ever
insulted Japanese Emperor like that. And he was not just an ordinary Korean man
but was the president of South Korea.
That was a wake-up call for ignorant Japanese
people to sober up from a delusion of “We are the same humans (East Asians) and
can share the same values and feelings” Japanese people heard a snapping sound
in the back of their heads at that moment.
And suddenly the atmosphere in Japan
drastically changed.
Japanese people were uttering “They crossed
the line” in the deepest rage.
Very patient Japanese people finally became
very angry and at the same time at lost not knowing what to do anymore. Then,
out of nowhere many specialists and scholars appeared on the internet and began
to tell ignorant Japanese people about the huge differences between Japanese
and Koreans.
Until then, Japanese people had never listened
to this kind of people. I also kept telling Japanese people the huge
differences about the way of thinking and common sense by nationality but every
time I told them, Japanese people would reject my warning and said “That’s
discrimination! You are a racist! We are all the same humans (East Asians)!”
Yes, Japanese people were just like you now.
Nobody was ready to have a mindset to listen
to those people who knew the differences and reality. But after hearing the
insult against Japanese Emperor by South Korean President, finally Japanese
people could come to realize “We might have been all wrong” and got ready to
listen to something they haven’t known ever before.
Since then, most of book store's front
bookshelves have been filled by the books which explain the differences between
Japanese and South Koreans. And this kind of book has always become the best
seller in Japan.
What we
have to learn from the mistake made by Japanese people is that Japanese people
were thinking, “We are the same East Asians (humans) so that we can share the
same values and feelings (the way of thinking) even though that it might seem
to be difficult” but it was proved to be all wrong. It took more than 10 years
for Japanese people to realize this.
If you were American, it would be just like
American people spent more than 10 years trying to get chummy with anti-US (or
anti-Catholic) people and country. That kind of thing Japanese people had been
doing for more than 10 years.
Therefore, if a westerner or people from other
part of the world said to Japanese people now, “Why not get along with Korean?”
you would be considered as a very ignorant people by Japanese. Japanese people
have now known well about Koreans more than ever before.
Both Japanese and South Koreans were selfishly
thinking to each other “They will understand us and accept what we think to be
right things” but both people were having a totally opposite thought because
both Japanese and Koreans had a different definition in terms of good and bad
Japanese people were thinking that Koreans
would lose anti-Japanese hatred but contrary to Japan’s expectation, South
Koreans were thinking “Japanese people are finally accepting our (fabricated)
history and that’s why they are giving us a lot as compensation to make it up.
Japan has to keep giving to us forever as an absolute evil and we need to
spread the story of Comfort Women since Japan is admitting their fault (giving
means an act of admitting fault, Koreans think) and encouraging us to do
that.” Japanese people were
unconsciously encouraging South Koreans to raise more Anti-Japanese hatred by
giving (an act of admitting a fault). This misunderstanding comes from the
different way of thinking and different common sense.
What Japanese people think right things (Being
honest, No cheating, etc) to do are wrong things to do for Koreans. And what Koreans think right things
(Cheating, lying, fabricating, for winning) are wrong things to do for
Japanese. What Japanese people do as common sense (yielding to each other),
doesn’t exist in Korean common sense (Koreans think yielding is an act of a
loser). The differences continue endlessly.
In
March of 2015, on the website of Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs first
time ever deleted the phrase “South Korea has the same mutual values as we do
and is a very important country” from the section of South Korea and instead
put in “South Korea is an important country” only. Hahaha. All South Korean
newspapers and government hysterically reacted to it and screamed “Why did you
remove that phrase!!” at Japanese government but Japanese government had enough
of South Korea and no longer cared about what the tricky cheaters said. And the
revised phrase has been left like that even now in spite of South Korea's
persistent complaint. Hahaha.
I hope you will understand what Japanese
people are thinking now. Gullible Japanese people became a little cautious to
apply the View of Good (“All people are fundamentally good”) to Koreans.
Now, finally I will explain The Japanese way
of thinking.
Please take a look at the 7th image attached
below.
This is a statistic reported by CIVITAS, which
is a British institute, in 2012.
You can see Japanese people are polar opposite
from South Korean. Even though South Korea is no gun society, but their murder
rate is top group in OEDC. And rape rate is higher than Mexico.
If you’ve ever thought South Korea was similar
or resembling to Japan, then South Korea had to be rated adjacent to Japan but
as you can see Japan and South Korea are polar opposite. You have to admit your
ignorance or the fact of being brainwashed by false information supplied by
media in your country. Japanese and Koreans are polar opposite in everything
and there is no cultural connection to each other.
All the mysteries “Why only Japan is” will be
unlocked in Part-5 when explained the mechanism of Japanese way of thinking.
