<< Japanese Peach >>

 Last year, I talked a little bit about Japanese peach saying that it was very juicy and so easy to peel off the skin with your fingernails but I didn’t take pictures of it myself.
So I tried it this time to prove it.
There is no peach like this in US, right?
It is very juicy. No crunchy at all. When you sink your teeth on the flesh of peach, inside your mouth gets to be flooded with so much pouring juices that you will have to be careful not to get suffocated.

If you have a chance to visit Japan from middle of July till middle of September, you should definitely try Japanese peach. It isn’t expensive at all.
(If you buy it in Tokyo, it will be expensive because anything in Tokyo is expensive.)

Make sure to keep it in the fridge for a couple of hours before you eat it.

<< Summer food >>

I have been writing the series of “Only in Korea”. It is becoming a long series. It will take more time to post next one.

In a meanwhile, I will talk about something else today.
This year, unlike usual, summer in Japan is really hot! Sweltering hot!
In Kyoto, It is said that the temperature will hit 40 degrees in Celsius 101 degrees in Fahrenheit next week!
It’s just like being in sauna.

< Unagi >

 Since ancient time, Japan has a custom of eating Unagi (a freshwater eel) during summer season.
It’s been believed in Japan that Unagi gives stamina to endure harsh heat of summer.
As the matter of fact, Unagi is high in Vitamin E. Vitamin E is known as rejuvenating Vitamin and it really gives endurance. So it is scientifically correct to eat Unagi during summer season.
However, there seem to be horrible Unagi restaurants appearing in Tokyo and some urban areas where foreign tourists are visiting.
“Unatoto” restaurant seems to be one of the chain restaurants serving frozen Unagi imported from China.

<Distinctive differences between genuine Unagi and Chinese Unagi>

1.    Chinese Unagi has a thick skin
2.    Chinese Unagi is abnormally huge
3.    Chinese Unagi tastes oily and bad
4.    Chinese Unagi smells no good

Japanese Unagi is a different breed called "Japonica" from Chinese Unagi. Even though they are biologically categorized into the same group of Unagi, but actually they are different kinds.

Chinese Unagi has skin that is very thick and chewy! It's hard to bite it off. You feel like chewing on the rubber sheet. The real Japanese Unagi has paper thin skin and it can easily be ripped by just gently pressing with chopsticks.
The flesh of char-broiled (genuine) Unagi is so fluffy and soft that you don’t even need to chew it at all. It just melts in your mouth.
Raw Unagi is banned to import in US (only frozen Unagi, most likely from China, is available), so it is the best opportunity to try the real Unagi if you ever come to Japan but make sure to avoid those horrible Unagi restaurants serving frozen Unagi imported from China.

<< The Era of Discovery >>

I will continue to write “Only in Korea” series and let you know what you haven’t even imagined of East Asia. Also I am writing a different topic regarding Japan now.

I want to tell you this.  If you are a reader of my blog, you shouldn’t think that I am typical Japanese. As the matter of fact, most of things I have been explaining in my blog about Japan Korea and China, Japanese people don’t know.
In other words, Japanese people are as ignorant as Westerners Asians and people from other part of the world. So it is the same difficulty I encounter when I try to convince Japanese people as I try to convince Westerners and Asians because Japanese people also have the groundless prejudice that all humans are the same as we are.

We all “humans” tend to thinkAll people are the same as we are” while self-conveniently believing "My standard, (or my belief), all humans will agree with because I think it is the right thing and the best thing! How can people from other country possibly disagree with us!? We are the same humans after all so all people will agree with our thoughts!"
But it is all wrong. I tell this to Japanese as much as I do in my blog in English.

The era of internet is the era of information. In other words, it is an era of discovery.
Although there is tons of fake information flooded on the internet as propaganda (non-evidential brainwashing), but at the same time you will have more chances to run into different aspect (truth) and accurate information such as EVIDENCES than TV and newspaper.

When only TV, Newspaper, books were available, there was no process of verifying the information. So the condition was more like a cult that you had to believe any information exposed to yourself.
The media (TV, Newspapers, Books) were cult leaders for all people.
None of people had any doubt on what the cult leaders said. However, in the era of internet, you can verify the information exposed to you.
What you learned at school can be 100% wrong and fake if you verify the information on the internet because you might discover EVIDENCES which contradict from the information you have learned and believed.

It will be more and more difficult to push propaganda (non-evidential brainwashing) as far as Freedom of Speech is protected on the internet.

<<Only in Korea Part-4>>

Continuing from Part-3
=================================================
=================================================

Below are the purposes of this series

    1.    <Japan never invaded Korea>
2.    <Korea asked and begged Japan for merger>
3.
<Sexual slavery is 100% FAKE story>

I explained with evidences in the previous series that Korea was traditionally slavery society.
I attached the map of Korean Slavery Society to remind you.

You can imagine that this society was like current North Korea. There were a dictator (Korean Queen), officials (Ryangban), civilians (+ slaves),
Even today, North Korean citizens are starving to death due to exploitation by the dictator and officials. However, back in the old time, there was even a bigger dictator “China” above Korea for exploitation. So you can imagine it was more horrible than the current state of North Korean society. That’s the reason why Korea couldn’t develop any remarkable culture at all.

In Slavery Society Korea, the ones who had complaints were, of course, the civilians. They held grudges and displeasure in deep anger against Korean Queen (Chinese official) and Ryangban (arrogant gangsters)
 It is just like current condition of North Korea. Only it was more miserable because Korea was a SLAVE PROVINCE of CHINA in its entire history.

In order to prove that everything what South Korea insists today about their history is 100% FAKE, it is inevitable to explain the relation about Japan, China, and Korea.
The crucial parts of history I will reveal for you in this series because most of Koreans and Chinese don’t know or even if they knew it, they would never accept it.
So there would be no chance for you to know the actual histories of Korea and China if you were Westerners and had a Korean or Chinese historian at your school.

<Crucial Korean History>

 I will show the evidences Korea had chronically asking and begging Japan for help and merger.
There are what all Koreans intentionally trying to hide or delete from actual history.
Please read the actual history below.

====================================

1.    Imo Incident / Coup (See the time table)

On July 23rd 1882, way before Japan-China War, Korean Army (Ryangban) triggered the riot (Coup) against the dictator Korean Queen "Myung". (See the attached time table)

 Myung was asking and inviting Japan for modernization of Korea because Japan was so much ahead of the time and Korea envied Japan.

Japan was helping Korea by Korea’s request for modernization while establishing new Korean Army. However, Queen Myung neglected the former Army which was consisted by Ryangban (notorious gangsters) and even stopped paying their salaries. That’s when the former Korean Army (Ryangban) triggered the coup.

Their targets were the lives of Queen Myung and Japanese officials who helped Korean Queen. And a lot of Japanese officials got killed during the coup while Queen Myung managed to escape from the attack of Ryangban but Korean Army (Ryangban) also attacked all her relatives and occupied Korean Palace.
At that time, even civilians participated in the riot because civilians also wanted to kill the dictator Myung. (It makes sense, right? If you knew Korea was a slavery society)

Then Korean Army (Ryangban) established the father of Korean King “Heungseon Daewongun” back to his active duty because he was conservative and Ryangban thought he could bring Korean back to its slavery society so that Ryangban could exploit Korean citizens while their lives were guaranteed by him.

However, after the coup, Japan sent 4 battleships and more than 1,000 troops to Korea. And China, as it proclaimed the owner of Korea to Japan, also sent 3 battleships and 4,000 troops to Korea and made success in subduing Korean Army (Ryangbang).

China, as the owner of Korea, didn’t accept the idea of establishing Korean King by Ryangban so China abducted the Korean King (Heungseon Daewongun) and took him to Tianjin China and suppressed Koreans to agree with Chinese proposal which was to get Korean Queen Myung back to her original position as a dictator Queen in Korea. So it got back to the same condition. However, it was a little different from previous state.

<Japan was the victim of Korea>

Japan, China, and Korea under Queen Myung discussed after the incident and Korea agreed to sing on “Japan–Korea Treaty of 1882”. (See the attached picture)
In this treaty, Korea admitted Japan was the victim of Korea (Ryangban) and not only agreed to pay liquidation for Japan but also agreed to let Japanese Army station in Korea.
On the other hand, Chinese cabinet members led by “Li Hung Chang” decided to send a military minister “Yuan Shikai” to Korea. And Yuan became the representative of Korean King.  So China developed more power within Korea after the coup.
And Yuan began to eliminate Japan from Korea.

<Imo Coup in Japanese>
<Imo Coup in English>
< Japan–Korea Treaty of 1882 in Japanese>
< Japan–Korea Treaty of 1882 in English>
================================

What I have to emphasize at this point are,
1.    Korea envied the developed country Japan and begged Japan to help Korea become modernized.

2.    Korean civilians wanted to kill Korean Queen.

3.    Ryangban wanted to kill Korean Queen because their lives became horrible neglected by Korean Queen.

4.    But China rejected to destroy the traditional Slavery Society.

5.    Ryangban also wanted to protect traditional Slavery Society.

6.    For Ryangban, the fight (coup) between Japan and Korea was to protect Ryangban’s privileges (Slavery Society).

7.    Japan was the victim of Korea getting cheated by Korean Queen Myung.

So at this point, it has been proven that Koreans usual claim of “Koreans fought against Japanese invasion!” is wrong. Ryangban was fighting to protect slavery society against Japan which helped modernize Korea by the request of Korean Queen Myung.

In part-5, I will explain not only Korean civilians begged and asked Japan to merge Korea but also even the parts of Ryangban begged Japan for annexation (merger).
It is really interesting to see the actual history because Korea was and is constantly changing their stance while cheating on everybody.

Continuing to Part-5.

 About 90% of people living in Japan are Japanese. If the theory of "All people are the same humans!" was correct, then the ratio of Japanese felony prisoner in Japan would have to be the same ratio as the 90% because that much Japanese are living in Japan dominantly. However, in reality Japanese felony prisoners in Japan are only 3%. More than 50% of murderers in Japan are Korean pedigree (meaning one out of two murderers in Japan), and 33% of murderers are Chinese (meaning one out of three murderers in Japan).

 If you were British and supposedly belonged to the group of 3% in jails in your country, and most of felony criminals in jails happened to be Italians and Germans, could you possibly say "We are the same Westerner! There are good and bad people in any country!" while looking at your number 3%? Moreover, if Germans and Italians were Anti-British and constantly fabricating FAKE history trying to demonize British while they try to cover up their ongoing malicious invasions and ignoring human rights, you would probably say “No, we are not the same! Don’t call us Westerner and generalize European into one group!” But in reality, Europeans are relatively similar to each other unlike North East Asians.

 I don't think it is appropriate to use the word "Asian" while generalizing Japanese, Korean and Chinese because the difference is too huge to generalize them into one group. Koreans and Chinese are very much similar and resembling to each other because Korea was a part of China until recently. So it is okay to generalize Koreans and Chinese as one group.

 My point is, it is very important to ask "What kind of Asian are you?" when you see East Asians because this is exactly what all Japanese, Chinese, and Koreans are doing to each other when they first meet each other.
Nationality difference in North East Asia is huge. So you always have to specify the name of nationality instead of calling them "Asian" to make it blur as though there is no differences.

<<People are different by nationality=FIFA Soccer version>>

Are you guys watching FIFA World Soccer held in Russia?
In Japanese web community it is becoming a hot topic because Japanese team is doing well so far.
On the other hand, there are people psychotically being jealous of Japanese success as usual. You know who I am talking about. It’s Korean. (Hahaha)

Anyway, as usual, Korean soccer players committed so much foul play and they are honorably ranked the highest among of all countries by the foul play ranking. See the attached images. (Hahaha)

Koreans aren’t playing sports but they are always concentrating on physically injuring their opponents.
When Korea and Mexico played the game on June 22, Korean players committed foul play 24 times while Mexico did only 7 times.
It was AS USUAL very nasty Koreans. And so much critical comments about Korea flooded on Twitter. See the attached pictures? (Hahaha)

What bothers us is a lot of people in the world think that Koreans are similar to Japanese getting cheated by false information.

<Why Japanese are so different from Koreans?>

On June 9th, Record China (Web News) reported about a hot topic in web community in South Korea.
The title was “Why Japanese people don’t steal? We Koreans are envying the quality of Japanese people”
This was the topic propped up in Korean web community and Korean people were reacting to it.

Nowadays, the most tourists visiting Japan are Koreans and Chinese.
And this Korean, who has visited Japan, explained the impression about Japan.
She said “Japanese people seem to love flowers. They have flower pots in front of their houses. It was so beautiful! But at the same time, I got jealous of Japan because of the fact that nobody stole flowers”.
She continued “I have placed a flower pot outside to give it direct sunshine before but if it was a small pot, people stole it, when it was a large pot, people stole only flowers.”

Then, Korean people replied comments like “In South Korea, if you put a flower pot outside, it would be stolen 100% for sure!” “I have tried to grow flowers in my garden, but all flowers ended up getting stolen by elderlies of my neighbor.”

=(Source; Record China)====================
=======================================

In the era of internet, oftentimes people are misled by false information. But seeing is believing. That’s why I try to show you pictures (evidences) instead of testimonies which can be false especially if it was made by Koreans.

Korean people are raised to believe “Japanese are the same as Koreans!” by their parents but when they visited Japan, they all got stunned by the absolute differences in front of their eyes.
Everything in Japan is opposite from Korean society. Koreans are even far more different from Japanese than Chinese.
I think it is important for all of us to know the differences by nationality instead of holding onto a delusion (groundless prejudice and bias) “We are all the same humans!” while ignoring facts and reality.

East Asians are very different from each other, especially Japanese are, unlike Europeans or Westerners who have so much similarity in common sense.

<<Influence of Media>>

There seems to be a lot of people are in shock finding out Anthony Bourdain’s death.
I am one of those who are mourning over Anthony's death.
I’ve quoted his videos and articles many times in my blog before when explaining Japanese culture.
It is really sad when you find out your favorite icon has unpredictably and suddenly gone.
Mr. Bourdain is famous also in Japan. He wrote and published many books in Japanese.
A lot of Japanese people including Sushi chefs are tweeting their sadness over Bourdain’s death on the internet.

Below are well-known Bourdain’s comments that are getting attention now.
=========================================
If I knew I was going to die tomorrow morning I’d probably be eating some really high-end sushi tonight,” he said.
Ideally, my last meal would be at Sukiyabashi Jiro, a tiny sushi bar below street level in Tokyo. It serves some of the finest quality sushi anywhere on the planet,” he wrote.
I think I’d prefer to die like an old lion — to crawl away into the bushes where no one can see me draw my last breath. But in this case, I’d crawl away to a seat in front of this beautiful hinoki wood sushi bar, where three-Michelin starred Jiro Ono would make me a 22- or 23-course omakase tasting menu,” he added.

==========================================
Rest in peace, Anthony Bourdain.

Damn! I can’t believe my favorite TV host is gone now!

 Speaking of Mr.Bourdain, he was a guide letting ignorant people in the world know the whole different world and experiences of taste on his programs.
He raised the curiosity of those who have unquenchable appetite for wisdom and taste.
However, as far as I know, that kind of trend began back in 1993 when Japan started TV program called “Iron Chef”. This program made people look at chefs in awe with deep respect.

People in US know this program because “Iron Chef America” began from 2005 and its program is still on the air.

You might get surprised if you get to know that there are many US TV programs that are originated from Japan.
I attached the sample images.

<The era Japanese TV programs were created by Japanese>

Back in 80s and 90s, Japanese TV programs were really innovative and fun to watch.
Nowadays, people in Japan don’t watch TV anymore because it is boring.
Around year 90s, Japanese TV stations hired a lot of Koreans. And those Koreans, as they got promoted higher positions, started to hire only Koreans mostly their relatives and friends. Soon those major TV stations got taken over by Anti-Japanese pedigree of Koreans.
Because Koreans hired Korean based on their Anti-Japanese pedigree, talented Japanese people weren’t employed. As the result, Japanese TV stations ended up being unable to produce anything new due to the horde of incompetent employees.
This is the consequences of emphasizing pedigree (racism) instead of ability.

The same thing happened to Japanese Cinema industry. Korean man became a chairman of Japan Film Association. And Japanese films became horrible. We find so many Korean movie directors nowadays. And needless to say, those movies are unworthy to watch.
The only sacred entertainment in Japan, which hasn’t been contaminated by Korean, is Anime industry.
Animation, unlike movies, is produced by the creator so no one can tamper the original story and casts whereas in movies, Korean director can select only Korean actors and distort the original scenario for the sake of Koreans.

I hear complaints about Mexican immigrants in US, but at least Mexicans don’t take over US companies while eliminating Americans, right? Mexicans are not pedigree-oriented people, right? Moreover, Mexicans are not Anti-US people.

What can we do about intensely pedigree-oriented Anti-Japanese Korean immigrants (called “Zainichi”) in Japan? We have a whole different level of problem about immigrants. Although, I have to emphasize this problem is only limited to Korean pedigree. No other immigrants are doing such a horrible thing in Japan.

You might wonder “What about Chinese immigrants in Japan?” Well, Japanese media (TV industries and newspapers) are occupied by Korean pedigree. And Koreans hate Chinese people because some of them don’t have Anti-Japanese hatred like Koreans. Koreans would get in trouble if Chinese employee insisted “You shouldn’t do that!” when Korean employees tried to broadcast fake news to raise Anti-Japanese hatred. Therefore, those Japanese media don’t hire Chinese immigrants in their industries for the purpose of limiting only to their Korean pedigree. So they can safely commit cheating and raising Anti-Japanese hatred by the same Korean pedigree.

The only Japanese media, as far as I know, employing Chinese is a TV station called “NHK”.
NHK is the representative Japanese media but most of employees are Korean pedigree and some Chinese. I know this because I have my own information checked it myself.

That’s about it for today.

The series of “The Only in Korea” will continue with more amazing photos and evidences in part-4 and 5.  I am working on it.
