<<Good Tuna (Hon (Kuro) Maguro) is hard to get>>
Even in Japan, good quality of Tuna isn’t easy to get unless you know where you can buy it.
Those supermarkets in Japan don’t sell good quality of Tuna because good quality of Tuna is expensive. So most of Tuna you can buy at supermarkets in Japan is low quality (frozen) although compared to other countries, still the quality of Tuna available at supermarket in Japan is higher quality.
What I buy is “Raw” and “Bluefin Tuna”. Bluefin Tuna is the highest quality Tuna among of all.
It is not only good taste, but also the texture is exquisite when it is served RAW! It is really like Butter.
When butter is at room temperature, it becomes very soft and creamy, right? Just like that, the flesh of raw Bluefin Tuna easily gets mashed if you push it too hard. The texture of the fatty part is creamy when you put it in your mouth. And it melts at your body temperature!
I used to go visit fish markets to buy it but not anymore. I can buy it on the internet.
I don’t know if your country sells fresh seafood on the internet but Japan is really into selling fresh foods on the internet today.
What a good era today.
