<< Cheating, Harassment and Extortion >>

I have been taking a rest to post my writing recently.
I will not be in hurry to post my writing like I used to but I am having a lot of fun reading news about East Asia in Japanese. And I know all of you can’t get the raw information in English so I decided to post one today.

Like I said before, major Japanese media such as Asahi news, Mainichi News, Japan Times, AP, AFP, are all contaminated by Koreans so you never can get accurate information about Japan and East Asia in English. But we have a way to get accurate information in Japanese.
I will let you know how we get them. There are ways to find out accurate information about Korea and China.

Regarding Korea, major Korean newspapers have web news in Japanese language so we Japanese can get accurate information about Korea. Although, Korean newspapers are pretty much biased information but their reports about the data issued from Korean government are trustworthy information so we look for those official data from their news to analyze Korea.

Regarding China, They have national newspaper which is directly operated by Chinese government so if we can read it, we can get to know what’s on Chinese government’s mind. And that’s how we find out what Chinese government is thinking now.
Well-known media specialized in China is “Record China” which is Japanese web news translating Chinese newspaper into Japanese language and letting Japanese people know what’s going on in China now.
Unlike untrustworthy Japanese major media, Record China supplies very good and trustworthy source of information about China. Unfortunately the trustworthy information about both China and Korea is unavailable in English so most of people in the world never can find out truth about China and Korea even today. Only Japanese people can obtain the valuable information.

About a couple days ago, very funny news came in from South Korea.
It was news reported by Chosun Nilbo (Korea’s number one newspaper) in Japanese language.
According to the news, Chinese government-designated newspaper criticized South Korea fiercely in their editorial because South Korea had deployed four more additional THAAD missiles in Korea.
=============================
=============================

Chinese newspaper said “Deploying THAAD missiles in South Korea, while knowing China and Russia are in a position against the deployment of THAAD missiles, is like South Korea has become as a problematic cancer as North Korea as oftentimes South Korea itself refers to North. "And Chinese newspaper concluded Korean people became unable to make a right decision eating Kimchee.

In other words, what Chinese newspaper said was “Korean people seemed to have become idiots as the result of regularly eating Kimchee. (Hahaha)  South Korea is as a problematic cancer as North Korea” (Hahaha)

See? You can’t read this kind of news in English, right? Those major Japanese media (Asahi news, Mainichi news, Japan Times, AP, AFP, CNN, Reuter) don’t report actual news at all. Only if you can read Japanese language, you can get accurate information about East Asia.

Anyway, South Korean government reacted to the news and announced a protest against Chinese newspaper for quoting Korean food to insult and criticize Korea.

And here we got another follow-up news today from South Korea.
According to Korean news, after getting the protest from South Korean government, Chinese newspaper deleted the editorial from their website but after a while Chinese newspaper uploaded the same editorial again only changing its title.
=============================
=============================

So China ignored the protest from South Korea. Hahaha.

< Cheating, Harassment and Extortion, the Korean way >

Both North and South Korea have the same way of living. Those are “Cheating, Harassment and Extortion”.
Those are the basic beliefs all Korean people have since they were born.
North Korea uses nuke missiles to harass US and Japan for extortion.
South Korea uses fake histories (Sex slave and all) to harass Japan for extortion.
In order to achieve their goals, both North and South Korea cheat on everybody (all countries) for manipulation. However, because both North and South Koreans have the same way of living, oftentimes both of their goals collide with each other. That’s why people misunderstand that North and South Koreans are enemies to each other but they are not.

South Korea has been raising Anti-Japanese hatred to extort Japan. North Korea has also been raising Anti-Japanese and Anti-US to extort Japan and US. So hatred is deeply engraved in all Korean’s DNA.

Since 2017, Koreans launched another fake history of “We are the victims of Japan!” trying to raise hatred against Japanese.
This time, they fabricated a fake story of becoming slaves of Japan as coal miners in an isolated island in the old time.
Japanese people are all weary of Koreans because Koreans can’t stop fabricating their history and their culture with no evidence. Just after North Korea launched missiles, South Korean government announced to Japan that they were considering to reiterate the history of slavery.
So when North Korea launched missiles to harass US and Japan, instead of criticizing North Korea, South Korea launched a new fake history to harass Japan. So you can tell North and South Koreans behave 100% the same way following their Korean fundamental beliefs of “Cheating, Harassment and Extortion”
You never can separate North and South Koreans because they are 100% same race, same people and same DNA.

South Koreans are not in fear of North Korea at all. A lot of people misunderstand Koreans. For North and South Koreans, Japan and US are the true enemies since old time. Koreans emphasize their pedigree so they know that Japanese is 100% different pedigree and DNA from Koreans. And it is true there is absolutely no connection in culture and DNA between Koreans and Japanese. Ignorant Japanese and westerners don’t know or can’t even understand the emphasis of pedigree Koreans have.

Koreans intense nationalism comes from the emphasis of their pedigree.
Then “Why South Korea is pretending to be on the side of US now?” Well, the answer is easy.
Koreans are homogeneous and are all evenly cheaters. And they know they can USE gullible Americans and Japanese for their benefits. That’s all. But what they have on their minds is different. Only gullible Japanese and westerners can’t see their true intentions. Koreans are very shrewd and clever when it comes to cheating on people. That’s why Japan and US have always been cheated by both North and South Koreans.

Both North and South Koreans mutually want to continue extorting and preying on Japan and US. And none of Koreans wants to kill each other. However, US is leading both North and South Korea into killing each other.(Hahaha) That's why South Korea is in panic now unable to make a decision on what is the best way to cheat on all countries in the world.

That’s about it for today.

<< Seasonal information >>

Off from a usual political issue today.
It’s almost September.

In June, I talked about how different Japanese fruits were from the ones available in US.
There was another surprising episode I had living in US.
I would love to go to a supermarket when I was in US because I was fascinated by so many veggies fruits and foods that were unavailable in Japan.
Then it caught my eyes when checking out fruits. It said “Pear” It didn’t look like a pear to me because the one familiar to us was perfect round shape but this one was far different from round. It looked ugly. “What the hell is this?” I uttered while holding one in my hand. I’d never seen anything like that. It really caught my curiosity. And I bought several of them.

Back in my apartment, I immediately tried taste test. Although it looked ugly, I was expecting that it would at least taste like a pear I knew.
I took one bite and got confused. “What the hell is this?” Hahaha.
It wasn’t sweet or juicy. It didn’t have crunchiness of pear at all. I felt like eating a raw potato. Hahaha.
“Maybe, this one happens to be horrible. Others will be okay” I thought. So I tried another one. And it turned out to be the same. Then I tried another one. And it was the same. I was totally confused. “Are American people eating this?”

I had an American friend upstairs so I went over there and asked him “Do you guys eat this?” He said “Yes”. I said “Are you sure? It tastes really bad, like a food for pigs” He said “Oh, no we cook it. We simmer it with sugar and use it like an apple pie.” Then it rang a bell to me, people in US didn’t eat pears raw. It really made me surprised.

I always missed Japanese pear when I was in US. Then the other day, I was working at a French restaurant after school. And Mexican co-worker introduced me a very strange food to me. He said “Try it” It looked to be a raw white radish. He sprinkled them with lemon juices and salt. I tried one. It tasted good. A little bit of natural sweetness but there was unmistakable quality in it which was familiar to me. The crunchiness I enjoyed from eating Japanese pear was there. Not completely the same but close. I asked him what it was. And he said “Jicama” From that day on, I kept eating Jicama everyday. I really loved it. Jicama is high in fiber so you never experience constipation as long as eating Jicama everyday. Unfortunately Jicama isn’t available in Japan.

Anyway, If you ever have a chance to visit Japan in September and October, you should try “Nijisseiki” (Japanese pear).  Have a nice day!

Never can you get right information – part1

Last time I said “As far as you rely on English for the source of information about Japan and East Asia, you never can get any accurate information”
As the matter of fact, if you rely on English language for the sources of information about Japan and East Asia, you will be misled by false information and end up making a wrong decision.
How can that happen? Well, I will explain why it happens showing examples with evidences and also the mechanism.
What I explain here is something you’ve never heard or thought of before. But it is important for anyone to know that because it has been happening in Japan and the same phenomenon has been observed here and there in the world too.

First of all, let me explain how Japanese media, that includes TV stations and Newspaper, had changed in the past.

There was an internet TV program on YouTube on May 27 of this year that it reported how Koreans took over Japanese media
It was conversation on YouTube between Yasushi Adachi who is a Japanese politician and Naoki Hyakuta who is a Japanese novelist.

Naoki got a copy of insider information about Japanese TV station called TBS.
An actual Japanese employee at TBS station divulged history of his company.
Naoki read the copy of the information while giving his opinions.

I cropped the parts of video and translated them roughly into English below.
=========================================

< Naoki starts reading up the document >
It first began like this. For example, Japanese TV broadcasting started in 60s. When TV anchor man called it “North Korea” in their news, a horde of Korean immigrants barged onto the TV station and the chairman’s private house, and made demonstration "Don't dare to call it North Korea! Call it Democratic and Republic Korea!" while threatening their lives. Korean immigrants with a look of menacing Yakuza persistently kept threatening the company and the chairman.
In fear of losing their lives, TBS made a special arrangement for Korean immigrants in exchange to stop harassing their company and threatening their lives. The special arrangement was to provide a certain number of Koreans to be hired by TV station every year without interview and exam. So as far as they had North or South Korean nationality, they were automatically employed by TV station.
(Despite here was in Japan, the anti-Japanese races of North and South Korean nationalities were prioritized than Japanese nationality)

A number of Korean immigrants were employed automatically every year. And the TV station was asking Korean immigrant organization not to tell the secret arrangement to anyone in fear of being exposed to public protest. And that condition made Korean immigrant organization become more advantageous to threaten Japanese employees and chairman of the TV station. Thus, Japanese TV station became a total slave for the anti-Japanese races of North and South Korean immigrants.

Next. In 70s, the crazy era when anything against Japanese government was applauded on TV.
Korean staffs made TV programs of anti-Japanese government. And those Japanese managers were misunderstanding about Koreans and they began to employ more and more Korean immigrants at TV station. That was in 70s.

Japanese executive manager held up idealism that there shouldn’t be discrimination for promotion between Japanese and Koreans but that was a naïve thought.
In reality, contrary to Japanese manager’s expectation, those Korean employees promoted to managers began to employ only Koreans and gave special treatments and advantages only to Korean pedigree. Japanese employees ended up being neglected and could never get ahead under Korean managers. There were intense partiality and racism against Japanese employees. And those Japanese employees protested about the partiality and racism against Korean managers were marked and demoted to local positions in order to eliminate Japanese pedigree from producing TV programs.

Furthermore, in 80s and 90s. Those Korean immigrants finally began to assume the critical positions such as general manager and executive manager.

< Naoki> “The producer of the influential political TV program on Sunday morning has his family name “KIM”. He must be Korean. Also the executive manager of TBS news is known for Korean. His name is Kim also.”

So all important and critical positions are being occupied by Koreans now.

In 90s and 2000s, partiality news, biased news, and fake news flooded TV programs and they leaked information, which they collected from interview, to certain kind of groups or organizations. Those scandals kept happening.
(They are like spies from North and South Korea collecting information from interview and supplying them to Korean authority)

Our company TBS got so much involved with North and South Korean issues and made a lot of scandals. In 90s, economic bubble collapsed and we got short in sponsors. So we had to heavily rely on Pachinko companies and loan companies for our sponsor.

(Pachinko is a gambling business exclusively run by Korean owners in Japan. Loan companies were also exclusively run by Korean owners. Gambling is illegal in Japan. Even if you bet money for playing cards with your friends, you get arrested. So Pachinko business is a privilege for Korean immigrants)

So our TV station was literally run by North and South Korean employees and sponsored by North and South Korean companies.
And that’s how all Japanese TV stations got taken over by Koreans.
And those Koreans and Korean Japanese managers used “Japanese common names” ( to disguise their identity)
To prove my point, I will refer to the phenomenon that all Japanese TV stations collaboratively started imposing Korean dramas and K-POP on Japanese audiences around that time.

<Naoki> “That was horrible!”

==============================================

What’s funny about the internet TV program is, Korean immigrants always protest against this TV station because their programs are divulging truths about Koreans immigrants. However when Naoki Hyakuta divulged the truth about Japanese TV stations, suddenly Korean immigrants became quiet because all information is true. And it was just too inconvenient for Koreans to stir up the issue and make Japanese people be aware of it. So they stay low now. Hahaha.

< Déjà vu >

This testimony from former TBS employee reminds me of Korean immigrants in US.
When Korean elderlies occupied seats all day for one cup of coffee at McDonald’s in New York, McDonald’s employees made Korean elderlies removed from the seats, then Korean immigrant organization called it “Racism!” and kept harassing McDonald’s. And McDonald’s not only apologized to Koreans but also promised a special arrangement (privilege) for Koreans to be hired. It’s the same phenomenon happened in Japan.
Despite Koreans were spoiling the business of McDonald’s occupying the seats all day long, and Koreans were offenders, but the victim of McDonald’s ended up making apology and even giving a privilege to Korean immigrants. No matter which country Koreans live, they do the same things, harassment and extortion.

< One moment to consider >

You know there is a law in the US to employ minority if a company is large. The law is to protect minority from majority. However, imagine if the company employed minority who were from a country of Anti-US and they became promoted to higher positions and started to employ only their race while eliminating majority in order to take over the company or organization. You’ll start to think “Wait a minute! We majority need to be protected from minority who are Anti-US!” Well, that’s the point. That’s exactly what’s been happening in Japan.

And when “Ban Ki-moon” a native South Korean assumed the secretary of general at United Nation, he removed most of officials and swapped them with his relatives and his Korean friends to let them assume the important positions so that they could commit cheating and fabricating the documents. That’s how UN fabricated fake reports such as “Japanese young girls are doing “Enjyo Kosai (prostitution)”

When Koreans become in large number, that’s when they become genuine Koreans which means “Cheating, fabricating, manipulating”

< Demonstrations against Fuji TV station in 2011 >

I explained about this before in my blog. It was one of the largest demonstrations triggered in Japan.
Tens of thousands of people were protesting in front of Fuji TV station. And it was repeatedly demonstrated for many months. And this fake news by Japanese TV run by Koreans became bigger issue as the time went by. And the demonstrations against Japanese media run by Koreans spread throughout Japan.

Despite these demonstrations were huge and repeatedly triggered throughout Japan, no Japanese media (TV, newspaper) reported it on their news.
Then, how Japanese people found out about it? It was internet. People who participated the demonstrations live-streamed it on the internet, and the monitor showed how many people were watching it now. And it showed tens of thousands of people were watching it. That indicated a huge number of people throughout Japan were severely involved and concerned about media contamination by Koreans.
The reason why Japanese media never reported this demonstration was because if they did it, CNN AP AFP New York Times would have to report it in western media also. But AP AFP New York Times were already contaminated by Koreans. New York Times head office in Tokyo is in the same building as Asahi Newspaper is in.
They don’t report anything bad about Korean immigrants but they love to report fake news to insult Japan.

< Abnormal Japanese media >

What’s really unreasonable about Japanese media is, that they hide Korean identity.
For example, if there was a serial killer or rapist, who was a Korean immigrant, caught by police, Japanese media would report him as Japanese man despite he had Korean nationality. Such a thing can never happen in any country, right?
But Japanese media does that trying to hide anything bad about Korean immigrants because Japanese media is contaminated by Koreans. Only “Sankei news” which is trustworthy newspaper in Japan reports the actual Korean name and nationality but they didn’t do that until recently.

It is said Korean immigrant organization protests against revealing Korean nationality in Japanese media insisting “That’s discrimination!” But what kind of country hides nationality for one particular type of nationality? For example, if ISIS member or Anti-US people attacked American citizens, would US media hide the criminal’s nationality and report “American man attacked American citizens”? Well, that’s what’s been happening in Japan since old time. The most Anti-Japanese race of North and South Korean nationalities have been kept hidden from public exposure. So YOU never can get any accurate information as far as relying on Japanese news in English.

And I have to mention this. When Chinese immigrants and other immigrants caught for committing a crime, all Japanese media report the criminal’s nationality and its actual name. See? These unreasonable and unfair things are done by Koreans at Japanese media. It’s a very despicable way to cheat on people by Koreans.

In US, people don’t hide their origin and their names. Japanese who naturalized to US citizens are called “Japanese American”. Koreans who naturalized to US Citizens are called “Korean American” therefore Koreans who naturalized to Japanese citizens have to be called “Korean Japanese” but Korean immigrants are fiercely resisting to reveal their origin. All other nationality such as Chinese, Taiwanese, Vietnamese don’t mind to reveal their origin but only Koreans.
Korean immigrants make an excuse saying “Because if Japanese found out we had Korean origin, they would discriminate us!” but that is not convincing at all because all other Asian never feel that way. No people feel hesitant to tell their nationality and origin including Chinese in Japan. Why only Korean people must feel that way? The only convincing way to presume their reason is, Koreans are different from any people in the world. That’s why only Korean people feel necessity to hide their nationality and their actual names.
Good example is, when Koreans commit a crime in oversea countries, they all say “I am Japanese!” This is not a joke. Even Korean TV show host was jokingly saying this on Korean TV and all Korean audiences were laughing as if to say “Yeah, we do that all the time!”
And yes! Koreans are totally different from any people in the world. Then how different Koreans are?

< Why only Korean immigrants hide their nationality and their names?>

Speaking of how different Korean people are. I want to show you a great evidence.
Please take a look at the attached image below.

It is a graph of criminal immigrant ratio of each nationality in Japan. It is first time ever revealed by Police in a wake of demands from a Japanese politician.

Considering the fact that the largest number of immigrants in Japan is Chinese, Korean immigrant's criminal orientation is prominent compared to other Asians. The number of Korean immigrant's criminal rate is more than double of Chinese immigrants.
This is what Korean immigrants want to hide from you.

The true reason for why Koreans demand to hide their nationality is, if Korean nationality was revealed, most of crime news in Japan would have to report Korean criminals. And if major Japanese media reported it, then it would automatically be reported by western media, thus the whole world would find out Koreans were very malicious immigrants becoming as a cancer in Japanese society. This is their true reason for refusing to reveal their true nationality and Korean name.

That’s why Koreans working at Japanese media (TV and Newspaper) detest revealing only Korean nationality but instead they report as a Japanese man when Korean immigrants commit crimes in Japan. They don’t care revealing Chinese and other nationality of criminals but they fiercely protest against revealing Korean nationality when it comes to crime. However, as you can first time see the actual data from Tokyo Police Department, Korean immigrants got a very nasty intention to hide their true identity so that they can continue cheating on people.

Another reason why Korean immigrants don’t want to reveal their Korean name and nationality is, there was a dark history in their past.

This is an actual Japanese history you have never heard before. All elderlies of Japanese know this dark history.

<< Manipulation and brainwash >>

I am now writing about the corruption of Japanese and foreign media. I think it will take a little more time to complete.
While I am writing, I always keep searching for information that is relevant to the issue. And I found a good one. I thought before reading my writing, this would help you understand better about the issue. And it is more convincing for you to hear an opinion which is similar to mine.

The information is from Mr. Kent Gilbert again. I referred to his opinions quite oftentimes here in my blog before. The reason why I do that is because Mr. Gilbert is American with American nationality. His family members are all Americans too.
And he spent nearly 40 years in Japan. However, spending a long time in a foreign country doesn’t mean that he or she is automatically understanding the native people’s way of thinking. As the matter of fact, most of people living in a foreign country don’t understand the local people’s way of thinking. Why I say this? Because I’ve actually seen a lot of Japanese immigrants who lived in the US and weren’t able to understand American people’s way of thinking despite living in the US more than 20 years. I was of course one of them until I ran into some opportunity which made me understand American way of thinking.

So the chances are very high, if you are American living in Japan for 20 or 30 years, you will remain to have American way of thinking without being able to understand Japanese way of thinking.

If you are American or westerner, when you look at East Asians, you will think “There are good and bad people in any country”. You don’t let go this idea regardless how long you live in Japan or Korea or China.

You instinctively reject the idea “Each county has totally different way of thinking”.
You don’t want to accept the differences by nationality because you wrongly think “Generalizing people by nationality is racism” without acknowledging “There are extremely different races and countries exist where people are homogeneous and have evenly same way of thinking, therefore “There are only this type of people in this country and that country” you have to be able to say even though exceptional people exist in small number.
Therefore, naturally you end up refusing to learn the differences by nationality, thus remaining to be ignorant no matter how years you live in East Asian countries. In another word, if you aren’t stubborn but are flexible and have acute insight, you will be able to understand the difference by nationality of East Asian without living in East Asian countries.

Having said that, what’s special about Mr. Gilbert is, he can recognize the differences by nationality. He knows and explains Japanese and Koreans are totally different people. He’s very rare. Don’t you think? He is American, therefore he originally has a belief “There are good and bad people in any country” thinking all East Asians are the same.

Just like Japanese and Americans, Koreans also remain Koreans no matter how long they live in Japan although there are exceptional cases in small number.

Now, let’s listen to Mr. Gilbert’s opinion about Japanese media.
I copied and pasted his writing (He kindly wrote in English in his blog) below. His writing was published on July 8 of this month.

===================================================

< Common Knowledge Revisited 124 > by Kent Gilbert

The local political party “Tokyo Residents First Group” headed by Tokyo governor Yuriko Koike won an unexpectedly large victory in the Tokyo metropolitan assembly election held on July 2nd, garnering 55 seats, including new party members who joined after the election.

With this election, it became clear that a large portion of the media is in overdrive with its bare-knuckled campaign to overthrow Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, who has made clear his intention to amend the constitution. By contrast, the cabinet and the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) are unguarded and on the defensive.

A portion of the media is fiercely biased with reports made solely for the purpose of image manipulation, as they breathlessly report any information which may damage the Abe administration regardless of whether it includes any illegality or is backed by any evidence and at the same time basically refuse to report any information which is advantageous [to the administration].

The “Kaku Gakuen” issue is a case in point. Democratic Party (DP) diet member Yuichiro Tamaki who is leading the pursuit of this issue has close connections with the Japan Veterinarians Association which violently opposes the establishment of a new veterinary department. However, a majority of the media has ignored this

When Prime Minister Abe spoke in front of Akihabara Station during the metropolitan assembly election, some people called out “Go Home!” or “Abe Resign!” and displayed a huge banner, all election campaign obstruction [which is illegal].

In response, Prime Minister Abe said, “We must not give in to these people.” Many people listening to him speak must have felt great satisfaction. However, news shows ignored the election law violations and only criticized the prime minister.

Many television stations are not in compliance with Article 4(4) of the Broadcast Law which requires that broadcasters must “clarify the points at issue from as many angles as possible where there are conflicting opinions concerning an issue.” It seems clear that they really do think that their job is to guide public opinion through image manipulation.

I think Prime Minister Abe should come up with a serious policy to deal with the media. Key flagship terrestrial television stations pay just a few tens of millions of dollars per year to use the air waves. In other words, they exemplify vested interests protected by bedrock regulation.

It is not necessary to cancel the license or block broadcasting by broadcasters who have no intention of obeying the Broadcast Law. It is sufficient just to put their rights to use the air waves up for auction. In exchange, I think Broadcast Law Art. 4, which requires “political fairness,” could be abolished.

I would also like to work with television manufacturers. Remote controls are divided into “terrestrial,” “BS [broadcast satellite]” and “CS [communication satellite]” sections [with the default setting being “terrestrial], which is very inconvenient. Access to a seamless programming schedule, including internet broadcasters, would no doubt increase the media literacy of viewers.

I also have a suggestion for the upcoming cabinet reshuffle. To break the current deadlock, I suggest a bold move to put the right man in the right job with Shigeharu Aoyama as defense minister, Yoichi Takahashi as finance minister, and Tohru Hashimoto as minister of justice.

============================================

Now, the most important parts in his writing, which I want you to pay attention to, are below.

< A portion of the Japanese media is fiercely biased with reports made solely for the purpose of image manipulation, as they breathlessly report any information which may damage the Abe administration regardless of whether it includes any illegality or is backed by any evidence and at the same time basically refuse to report any information which is advantageous [to the administration].>

< It seems clear that they really do think that their job is to guide public opinion through image manipulation.>

See? < Manipulation; labeling him ”this” and “that. And “Refusing to report any information that can help turn the impression of President Abe upward” >
Japanese media became “Anti-Japanese brainwashing cult” now.

And why I mentioned Koreans for Mr. Gilbert’s writing? Well, there is a reason for what’s going on in Japanese media that has very much to do with Koreans.
That’s what I am going to explain in my writing with many evidences.

That’s about it for today.

<< Things that can’t be understood by women >>

I have been taking a little break to post my writing recently because it is really wearing me out. I have my own company to run but this writing is a really big job for me. And it is an even bigger job than my everyday work. Hahaha. So if I spent my time for writing at the end of week, I wouldn’t feel like I had a day off. You know what I mean?
But anyway, I know many people are visiting my blog, so I felt obligation to post something.

I have just begun to write about “Why you never can get any accurate information about Japan and East Asia as far as relying on English language”
It takes so much time to collect information and evidences to complete my writing.
In a meanwhile, I’m going to talk about something else today.

You might not know this.
In Japan, one of the most wel-known and preferred Hollywood movie stars is Clint Eastwood.
I am in 40s now. More than 20 years ago, when I was in the US, I had an opportunity to talk to an American lady who was probably in 60s.
I don’t clearly remember what was the conversation we had because my English was way horrible than it is now. But I clearly remember when the topic was about my favorite Hollywood movie star. I said several stars such as Meg Ryan because she was on Japanese TV commercials all the time and was one of the most preferred Hollywood figures back then. But what really made me surprised most was the reaction from her when I said “Clint Eastwood”. She immediately frawned and said “He is so mean!”
At that time, I didn’t know what “mean” meant. After returning home, I checked it in my dictionary (There wasn’t internet available back then) and found out what she meant. And I found myself laughing a lot. I thought “How could she say that?”
Clint Eastwood was the most adored and preferred Hollywood movie star in Japan. People in Japan were calling him “The coolest Hollywood star” back then. I wasn’t expecting to see that kind of negative reaction from the American lady which really made me surprised.

Right now, many satellite TV programs are doing “Clint East Special” in Japan.
Entire month of July is dedicated for Clint Eastwood movies.

When I was a kid, my father would tell me “Watch this movie tonight. That’s a good one!” And most of them were western movies. Especially those called “Macaroni western movies” were the greatest. “Macaroni” meant Italian. Although the move was filmed as American movies, but they were actually filmed in Italy so people in Japan called them “Macaroni (Italian) Western movies”. Clint Eastwood was the representative of Macaroni Western movies.
His best macaroni western movies were “For a few dollars more”, “The good the bad and the ugly”, and “A fistful of dollars”.
“A fistful of dollars” was a remake movie of “Yojimbo” which was the hottest Samurai movie back then.
I also loved “Dirty Harry” series.

So I was going after Japanese swords and pistols watching those movies when I was a kid.
I collected many model pistols and spent many hours with those guns after school.
But the other day, (I think I was in junior high school) after returning from school, I found all my collected guns were gone. I felt like my life was over. And it turned out to be my mother was the one who confiscated all my collections. And you know what? I could never see my collections again. Hahaha.
She was dead decades ago. I am sure she dumped them. How cruel she was! Hahaha. “Where is human right? Where is my right?” Hahaha.
Those were my treasures for 13 or 14 years of my entire life! The most important things next to my life but she ruthlessly dumped them! Hahaha.

I understand her feeling now. She wanted me to spend my youth and passion for something else other than toy guns. I think her decision was right.

Anyway, I recently bought gas air guns. See the attached pictures.

These are my new collections. “Colt Peace Maker” is the kind of gun I yearned after when I was a kid.
And I ordered a new one yesterday which is silver color of the same gun. The price is about the same around $380. Plus an option for walnut grip that cost about $35. So the total will be a little over $400.

As I watch Clint Eastwood’s macaroni western movies with those guns, I feel like my excitement is revived again when I was a kid.
I didn’t notice it when I was a kid, but Lee Van Cleef is as much of my favorite movie star as Clint Eastwood now.

Have a nice weekend!

<< Seasonal Information >>

Unlike usual, this time I’m going to talk about something different from political issues.

Every day is rainy day in Japan until about the middle of July.
But this is good for agriculture so that this particular weather condition will let many fruits and veggies grow which are unavailable in the US.

< Hakuhoe >

When I lived in the US, I was surprised to find out that there were many unavailable fruits in the US.
The most surprising fruit for me was a peach. The one which had been familiar to us was very juicy, tender, and sweet. But in the US, there wasn’t like Japanese peach available.

I think Japanese peach is difficult to sell in the US market unless it is sold in a special way such as encasing each peach in a box not to let anyone touch it because if you touch it roughly, it will be easily mashed. It is extremely soft and delicate. So even if you find Japanese peach sold in Japan, you may not touch it. It’s a manner for everyone.

And you can peel the skin off from the flesh by pinching the skin with your finger nails and pulling it off. You haven’t seen any peach like that in the US, right?
And when you carefully removing the skin from the peach, the juices pour and drip all over the place. When you take one bite, the juices pour and drip down from your chin. And your fingers become drenching wet from the juices. You have never experienced this much juicy fruit before. The sweetness is outstanding! The sweet smell of peach is very strong and wonderful!

Japanese peaches have just begun distributing in the market for this season now. But you need to know there are two major kinds of Japanese peach. “White Peach”, which is available from late June to July, is not very sweet but moderate and the softness is also moderate. But the one that is outstanding and exclusively available in Japan is called “Haku-ho (Ha-ku-hoe)” which begins to be available around August and September. That’s the kind of peach I am talking about here.
Hakuho is exclusively available in Japan (Recently exported to Asian markets) so those Chinese tourists, who know this peach, mass-buy it when visiting Japan during August and September because the price is way cheaper than the ones sold in China. And even if Hakuho is expensive in China, it will be sold out immediately.

<Kyohoe = Giant Grape>

Another Japanese fruit you should try when visiting Japan during summer season (August and September) is Japanese grape called “Kyoho (Kyo-hoe)”.
I tried any kind of grape while I was in the US but none of them could come close to the smell of “Kyohoe”.
Kyoho (Kyo-hoe) is a totally different breed from any grape. It was created by a Japanese agriculture scholar "Yasushi Ooinoue" in 1942 by crossbreeding many European and American grapes.

Kyoho in Japanese means “Giant grape” so each piece is larger than one inch (3 cm or more).
When you buy Kyohoe in Japan, you have to ask whether it is Kyohoe or not because there are same large size grapes, seemingly similar to Kyohoe but different kinds of grape, available in Japan. Only Kyohoe has the distinctive smell.

What make Kyoho outstanding from the rest of any grape are, not only its taste but also the distinctive smell that is absolutely intoxicating.
You can tell whether it is Kyohoe or not by just its smell without a mistake. That much the smell of Kyohoe is different from any kind of grape.

If you know Kobe Beef, then you should also try these Japanese fruits if you ever have a chance to visit Japan during summer season.
And make sure to keep them in a refrigerator before you eat them. Cold and juicy Hakuho and Kyoho are amazing!

I was writing the next post when great news came in yesterday.
I think this is a very good opportunity to prove why you never can get any accurate news or why any news about Japan and East Asia is all wrong if you rely on English for information.
I will start writing it from today.
